Cincinnati Magazine covers Water Speed Challenge
News Extra: Brian's Overview
Cincinnati Magazine has done a feature story about Ken Warby that can be found in the October issue. Warby has been a resident of the Cincinnati area for some time. Titled "Fool Speed Ahead" the article has some pretty good stuff, especially if you're a fan of Water Speed Records. With over five full pages, there is a lot of historical information and insight into the thoughts of the record holding Australian.
Russ Wicks was interviewed for the story, and was described by author Tom O'Neill as reverential of Mr. Warby. For you Warby fans, that means he respects Ken's accomplishments.
Warby again displayed his command of the English language by describing Russ as a "clown". It seems this is because Russ still clings to his irrational belief that computers will be able to aid in increasing the World Water Speed Record. I know, I was shocked to hear that, too! On the up side, Warby has apparently abandoned his plans to drive his boat wearing only a jockstrap. I applaud him.
